Hi Marston,
Having lived in GPK from 1947 until 2000, I have some very fond memories, especially of Christmas. It seems we had a lot more snow in the 50's than we do now too. Our family belonged to the GPK United Church where we had fabulous Christmas parties. What I remember the most, was leaving with a bag of Christmas candy and an orange! To this day, when I smell an orange, it makes me thing of my childhood and our wonderful church Christmas parties.
