George Williamson passed away in Columbus Georgia on Nov. 20, 2007 about 2 weeks after I spoke to him.
He was retired from the U.S. Army and was given a funeral with full honors - flag draped coffin, taps and folded flag given to his wife.
He was given a 3 gun salute as he had children and 3 grand-children.
