HI MARTY,
ROSS SENT ME THIS, WE SEE HIM PLAYING WITH HIS BIG TOYS AT THE FARM.
THANKS MARTY AND ROSS
PS WALKING ON SPRINGFIELD IN FRONT OF HIS HOUSE I SEE HIS GRASS HIS GETTING LONG, MAYBE HE COULD ASK HIS WIFE TO CUT IT, BEFORE
THE SNOW FALLS.
Norm, this is what I was working on last week.
#1- Complete corn stock is chopped & blown into wagons & trucks.
#2- The chopped corn (silage) is dumped into cement bunkers
#3- Silage is pushed up in bunker to make a 16 foot pile
#4- Silage is compacted with an 8 wheel tractor to remove all the oxygen from the pile. It is then covered with thick plastic sheets where it ferments & is used all year to feed the dairy herd. It will last until the same time next year when harvest will start all over. Next job in about a week or 2 is combining the corn where just the kernels are harvested, dried & stored in steel silos. You should make time to come out & take a ride in the combine. Just amazing at what this thing can do. Ross
Thanks Normand & Ross
